Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

At our institute, we are committed to providing an organized and effective educational environment. These terms and conditions help ensure the smooth running of training programs in line with quality and professionalism standards.

General Guidelines

As part of Macro Development Institute for Training’s commitment to delivering a high-quality and organized learning experience, all learners are required to adhere to the following regulations to ensure efficient training delivery:

  1. Commitment: The learner must comply with all policies and approved regulations within the institute.

  2. Payment of Tuition Fees: Learners must pay the due fees by the specified deadlines. The institute reserves the right to terminate enrollment in case of delay.

  3. Accuracy of Personal Data: The learner guarantees the accuracy of all data provided in the registration form and bears full responsibility for it.

  4. Updating Contact Information: Learners must update their contact details in case of any changes. The institute bears no responsibility for consequences such as missing exam dates if not informed.

  5. Exam Attendance: Learners will not be allowed to attend exams or postpone a course unless all fees are paid.

  6. Computer Exam Fee: The final exam fee for computer courses under the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) is SAR 57.5.

  7. Certificate Issuance Fee: The fee for issuing a success certificate in the final exam is also SAR 57.5, payable in advance.

  8. Number of Exam Attempts: Learners can take the final exam up to three times, within twice the duration of the course from registration.

  9. Requalification: If more than 30 days pass after the course ends or all attempts are used, the learner must pay 50% of the course fee for requalification.

  10. Retaking Exams: If a learner fails, they may retake the exam at least 30 days after the previous result, attending a requalification program for 35% of the course fee.

  11. Improving Results: Learners may pay SAR 575 to retake the course and exam to improve their grade, in line with TVTC regulations.

  12. Certificate Data Correction: A fee of SAR 57.5 is required to amend certificate data, with submission of the original certificate and supporting documents.

  13. Lost/Damaged Certificate Replacement: Issuance of replacement certificates requires SAR 57.5.

  14. Enrollment in Consecutive Courses: Learners are automatically enrolled in the next course if registered in multiple programs unless a postponement request is made at least one week in advance.

  15. External Exam Scheduling: The institute is not responsible for scheduling exams held by external supervisory entities.

  16. Exam Dates: Exam dates are set by relevant authorities or the institute management and are not subject to objection.

Refund Policy

To ensure training operations are well-organized and learner rights are protected, the following policy applies if a learner wishes to withdraw from a course and request a refund:

  • Withdrawal before the course starts: 10% administrative fee deducted; the remainder is refunded.

  • Withdrawal before the end of week one: 25% of the total fee deducted.

  • Withdrawal before the end of week two: 50% of the total fee deducted.

  • Withdrawal after week three: No refund; the full course fee is due.

Note: Learners must submit an official withdrawal request. Requests beyond the allowed period or lacking required documents will not be considered.

Course Postponement Policy

To provide a flexible and organized learning experience, postponement requests are accepted under the following conditions:

  • Official Excuse: A formal excuse must be attached with the request. Absence is not counted during this period.

  • Request Deadline: Postponement requests must be submitted at least one week before the course starts. No requests are accepted after course commencement.

  • Postponement Duration: Courses may be postponed for up to two months from the original start date, with a new date set by the learner.

Enrollment Termination

In cases of exam absence or course discontinuation:

  • The institute may terminate enrollment automatically one month after the course ends if no valid excuse is provided for missing the final exam.

  • Enrollment is terminated if the learner is absent for more than 15% consecutively or 20% intermittently, unless a valid excuse is submitted.

Registration Periods

Please note the following regarding training program registration:

  • Registration closes after the official deadline.

  • The registration deadline does not necessarily match the course start date.

  • After registration closes, learners may request a future session of the course.

Institute Policy

Programs at Macro Development Institute for Training are offered in a blended learning format, with e-learning not exceeding 25% of the total training hours.

Upon completing registration, learners are deemed to have accepted and fully complied with the institute’s policies and procedures.

Training Program Registration

The following rules apply to registration and confirmation:

  1. Registration is open during each program’s designated period.

  2. Upon registration, learner status is “Awaiting Payment,” meaning registration is not confirmed until payment is made, but the seat is temporarily reserved.

  3. Free programs are confirmed automatically upon registration.

  4. If payment is not made before the deadline, registration is canceled and marked as a “Reactivation Request.”

  5. When all seats are filled, learners are placed on a waiting list.

  6. Learners requesting reactivation or registering after full capacity will be notified via SMS.

  7. SMS notifications are used for any registration changes. Learners may track their registration via their personal dashboard.

Attendance and Absence

Virtual attendance is treated as in-person attendance and follows the same rules.

E-Learning Environment

To ensure an effective e-learning experience, the following conditions apply:

  • Minimum attendance of 75% is required in synchronous and asynchronous sessions.

  • Learners who exceed 25% absence are not allowed to take the final exam for courses longer than one month.

  • The course page must include a description, objectives, syllabus, learning outcomes, teaching strategies, assessment methods, and references.

  • Training materials, contact info, and an announcement board must also be included.

Pricing and Payment Methods

To ensure transparency and access to discounts, please follow these rules:

  • Payment methods: Credit cards, Mada cards, or direct bank transfers.

  • The price is based on the payment date, not the registration date.

  • Credit/Mada payments confirm registration immediately.

  • Bank transfers require manual confirmation by the sales specialist.

  • There are eight types of discounts (early registration, seasonal, group, community support, partnership, special, permanent membership, and future program discounts).

  • Discounts are time-bound unless related to membership.

  • Current prices are always shown on the website and may vary by active discounts.

  • Learners can view active/expired/used discounts on their profile.

  • The institute reserves the right to amend or cancel any discount not yet used.

  • No credit card information is stored; data is securely processed through a 100% safe gateway.

Training Program Contract Terms

The following terms govern how programs are conducted, in person or online:

  • The institute may postpone the program start for up to one week with notice to all learners.

  • In urgent cases, sessions may be postponed for up to two days with notification.

  • For online programs, learners can access the virtual session links from the course page, which remain active only during the program.
