Academic Integrity at Macro Development Institute for Training

Macro Development Institute for Training is committed to instilling a culture of academic integrity as a fundamental part of the educational and training process, based on the belief in the importance of ethical values that align with the principles of Islam and contribute to building a conscious and responsible generation. The institute adopts clear policies governing the conduct of all parties within the training environment, whether trainees, trainers, or staff.

Objectives of the Academic Integrity Policy

  • Promote ethical behavior within the learning environment.
  • Raise awareness of the risks associated with cheating and plagiarism.
  • Build an educational environment that respects individual effort and independent thinking.
  • Ensure fairness in evaluation and equal opportunities for all trainees.

Forms of Academic Integrity Violations

  • Cheating: Using or transferring any unauthorized content or training materials during evaluations or assignments.
  • Plagiarism and Intellectual Theft: Presenting others' work as one’s own without citing the original source.
  • Fraud and Forgery: Fabricating information or data, presenting false excuses such as fake medical certificates, or altering results to affect academic evaluation.
  • Misuse of Collaboration: Assigning individual tasks to others or relying excessively on group members in joint assignments.
  • Identity Misrepresentation: Impersonating someone else in a test or academic task or allowing another person to submit work on behalf of the trainee.

Disciplinary Actions in Case of Violations

  • Temporary suspension of the account and denial of access to the platform.
  • Cancellation of course or test results in the case of cheating.
  • Suspension of all academic achievements on the platform.
  • Preparation of an official report detailing the incident and supporting evidence.
  • Notifying the trainee of the disciplinary action before execution while maintaining full confidentiality.

Electronic Monitoring and Verification Mechanisms

The institute relies on advanced technical systems to monitor academic performance and detect violations, including:

  • Tracking platform log-ins and recording electronic attendance.
  • Using GPS to log login locations.
  • Monitoring connection data to verify proper use.
  • Limiting tasks and tests by time and password to prevent tampering.
  • Analyzing platform activity to detect suspicious behavior.

Test Administration

  • Trainees are allowed to enter the test venue up to 30 minutes before the start.
  • Leaving the room is prohibited before half the exam time has passed.
  • Mobile phones or any electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
  • If a violation is detected, the trainee must surrender the device immediately.
  • An official report is prepared for each incident and investigated using an approved template.

Attendance and Absence Policy

  • Trainee attendance is recorded electronically for each training activity.
  • Absences are calculated precisely; if a trainee exceeds 25% absence of the total program hours, they will be denied access to the final exam.
  • If a trainee is absent from the exam without an acceptable official excuse, they will be considered to have failed the course.
